They were easy to work with and Lori was excellent communicator. Their cost was significantly less than other companies. They designed container home plans for me. I strongly recommend this company.
Had our house plans drawn up here. Worked with Joe Lacki, he is very easy to work with and really listened to what we wanted. We are doing a renovation and addition to 1920’s house. Provided everything we need to obtain permit from City of St. Pete. Would recommend!

Finally, we got the paperwork that was needed. As before the work was laudable. The follow-up to that work was definitely more timely. Would have been a five if it weren’t for the length of time it takes to get results.

Joe at Architectonic and I have a 10+ year history. This can’t be the firm that I did business with originally. On our original project they were prompt, diligent, caring accessible and easy to work with.
For the past year I have not seen any of that. Both, my contractor’s and my calls, voice mails, texts, messages with secretary, and even personal visits have failed to engendered a response. Even the City Permitting Department has had difficulty. I have lost 3 builders, and two lenders because I couldn’t get the modified drawings to them in a timely manner. Since last November, I have diligently attempted to make contact. I have seen Joe on 3 occasions since last fall; always the same response. Oh wow; I’ll get that done this week or next. Right!
Because the original plans belong to the architect, I can’t use them with another architect to make the necessary modification needed for permitting. I’ve asked for a release of plans, nothing. (No, I do not owe him money.)
Today I will send a certified letter asking for a formal release and access to the original plans. If the letter doesn’t achieve the necessary results, my only recourse will be to initiate legal action. Which, I hate doing because I considered Joe a friend. But, my family and I are suffering due to his neglect and indifference.
Word to the wise: I have found them to be good architects; however for the past year they have been unwilling to communicate, thereby, holding me hostage. It grieves me to have to leave such a negative review.

Complete lack of communication. I met with them, they sent a proposal and asked that I call to go over it before executing the contract. I have called 5+ times, left multiple voicemail, messages with secretary, emails, and have had ZERO response in 3 weeks (while I am trying to pay them!) I am now over a month behind and it was a waste of my time to contact them in the first place. Looking for other reccomendations
Non responsive to several calls and texts. Spoke with Joe once then never again. Overcharged well over the quoted amounts. Nearly $2,000 over budget for a residential remodel.
