Deep River is a scam. We hired Deep Rivers to design an addition over our garage and adding an enclosed porch off of the back of our home. They toured our home and after a few weeks I emailed the architect asking if he would like to meet up to get some direction on my vision for the space. He instead took it upon himself to design an initial floor plan that had ZERO input from me. The initial floor plan the architect had drawn was something I could’ve done myself. We live on the lake and the design he presented blocked our views completely from the inside of our home and was a freestanding building not even attached to our home! I was sent multiple bills for that one meeting that ended up costing over 20,000$! And that was just for that first meeting! I asked the architect how much more money it would take to get to the finish line for our project and he estimated a substantial amount of money to continue working together. I didn’t want to spend over 100,000$ for architectural plans for our renovation so we chose to walk away from the company and cut our losses. It truly felt like a scam. A year later, I was sent another bill stating they forgot to bill us for another service! Stay away from this company. They will get you on a never ending billing cycle!
