I was the Project Manager of a local Church Construction Project that Dominion Seven Architects provided the design/architectural details as well as served in a consultant role during the Construction. The project was a tremendous success upon completion. Church functionality meet all operational design requirements and came in at approx. 2.5% below contract estimate and on schedule. Dominion was very instrumental in assisting with contract/field changes to control cost and schedule as well as some unique features that represented the original characteristic of the previous Church.
Dominion Seven has been an exceptional partner for the YMCA of Central VA for multiple projects, including the design for our new Schewel-Clark Downtown YMCA. They have attended so many meetings with our construction committee, our board of directors, and even donors, to ensure the Y’s design needs are met. While we still have work to do before design completion and construction, I want to give a shout out to Blair Smith and Jason Burger for their dedication to this project. I highly recommend this firm!
