My fiancé and I had an exceptionally positive experience working with Maryam Tabrizchi as our architect for a custom home build project, completed roughly one year ago. She listened attentively and patiently to our ideas, and then seamlessly incorporated our list of ‘must haves’ when presenting us with various design options during the early planning stages of this process. Maryam readily offered suggestions for improving upon our home’s design once we had a rough draft outlined, and it meant a great deal to us that she obviously was just as passionate about this project as we were. My fiancé and I had never worked with an architect before and were initially feeling somewhat intimidated by all the decisions we would have to be making in the course of this major undertaking. Maryam proved to be extremely adept at helping us to envision and design our ‘dream home’—one that truly incorporates our aesthetic preferences and meets our current and future needs. We are so grateful to her for all that she contributed towards our home’s beautiful end result!
My husband and I hired Elie Ben Architecture to redesign the entrance floor of our home including kitchen, living and dining room, and patio, and build a second floor including the master suite with a balcony, office, and lounging area. Maryam was great to work with, she is knowledgeable, professional, and organized. She embraced our preferences, transform our requirements and wish list, and worked with us to accomplish our goal. She worked closely with engineers and our contractor to answer questions, resolve issues and to ensure the plan was properly executed.

Maryam and the Elie Ben team were an absolute joy to work with. We did an extremely extensive renovation of a 1950’s Mid-Century Modern Home and Maryam was our architect. Our goal was to preserve the charm of a 1950s home while reconfiguring the layout to suit the needs of a young family in 2023. Maryam achieved the perfect balance in preserving the aesthetic we wanted while allowing for us to add all the spaces we wanted – a gourmet kitchen, a large dining area, a beautiful master suite, an addition for a garage, and much more. Can’t thank her enough for all of her hard work and creative contributions to our home.

Her design style is different than any others that we had seen and that’s why we worked with her in the first place. She is kind and pleasant to work with and knows what she is doing. Always professional, friendly and responsive to all of our requests.
She knows when to talk the client out of a ridiculous idea but at the same time gave us the free rein to custom design the home of our dreams. This collaborative relationship made the entire experience even better. We felt fully involved in the entire design process rather than being forced to do things a certain way.
