We wanted a New Orleans styled home, was told it was not in our price range and was given a single design we could afford. With some modifications we accepted this was the best we could do and we’re no longer excited about our new home. We settled. After giving them a deposit and two meetings, we waited on the changes to be made. After 3 months of waiting as we don’t know their turnaround time, we called. They said the didn’t think we were interested anymore, like I don’t expect anything for the deposit money I paid. We finished the plans months later after the interest rate rose and now we can’t find anyone to build the design for our price. Every builder mentioned the foundation to be the bulk of the cost. We have found another designer to look at their plans and discovered the foundation was overkill and the framing design would have caused issues had we started to build. I’m out thousands for useless papers. Now even more because I have to pay someone to fix their mistakes.
I made an appointment with them and then they left several messsges for me and called back to change the appointment time. *
On the day of the scheduled appointment, I am waiting on the person to show up at the property and he never did come out so I called and they said “we try to confirm with you on yesterday and today”.
Really, I spoke directly with a person who called me to change my time and now you are saying I needed to confirm. Whats the point of the app to accept appointments?
If you need verbal confirmation, someone should have said that when we rescheduled from the first time.*
Therefore, they were a no show and no go. I did not reschedule with them because they could have left a message saying, “hey we need to hear from you” before coming out and they did not leave a message.
My time is just as valuable as their time. I left off of my job to do business with them.
Very nice people. They were happy take the time to track down a contractor when I inquired about work he had done. Even though they stood nothing to gain, they still took the time to call me back and put us in touch.
Very pleasant experience.
