When I started my search for the perfect home for my family, I did a lot of searching for the architect I would want to use if I ended up building. After finding multiple images of Ken’s work when searching at random over beautiful houses and realizing he was here in Wisconsin I knew I had to reach out.
We went through quite the process searching for lots to build, but ended up instead purchasing a home in need of MAJOR renovation. Ken and Tracy helped us in a timely manner with our every architectural need.
They came to the house and took detailed measurements. Shortly after they had thoughtful suggestions for reconfiguring our kitchen and master bedroom and bathroom that we never would have considered ourselves. They helped us move and add windows, select materials when needed, move walls for a more thoughtful layout, and understand the need for a massive beam in our garage to convert the flat roof above our garage to a deck.
Their communication was responsive every step of the way. During chaotic times of the renovation they were reliable and assuring. I would recommend Genesis to anyone in need of architecture services.
It has been over 10 years since we built our home designed by Ken Dahlin but the enjoyment has never faded. Ken’s vision and artistry captured our ideas and desires which we everyday appreciate as we walk through the house. I remember that we the clients, created a design process that was lengthy, but never tired of it. This due to the fact that we so enjoyed being involved that we were constantly adding and changing the plans to suit our needs. We finally arrived at the result that is spectacular. We still look to Ken for any advice on projects that continue to develop around our home
