We first met Steve about 20 years ago when he designed our home on Daniel Island. From our first meeting to our last, we thoroughly enjoyed working with Steve and everyone who worked on the project! We had a team that was professional, talented, kind and just wonderful people! We have lived in our D.I. home close to 17 years, and my husband and I still love our home (and still get many compliments on it too)! We recently wanted to update a few things, so we got in touch with Steve’s office once again and are currently working with one of his talented and delightful designers, Abigal Botero. If you’re thinking of hiring Herlong Architects just do it – you won’t be disappointed!
Herlong Architects designed our Charleston home that was built in 2022-23. We had a very positive experience with the entire Herlong team. They were collaborative, creative and extremely professional. We highly recommend them.
Herlong Architects are simply the best at their craft. They are incredibly talented, creative and responsive to homeowners during the design process and throughout construction. We could not be more pleased with our beach home. We had a dream team at Herlong , Steve Herlong , Jim Selvetelli and Cintra Sedalik create the perfect home for us, and they made what should have been a difficult ordeal (building during Covid) a pleasant journey. Anyone who appreciates talent, integrity and perfection, should give them a call. There is no one out there who is more creative or skilled than the architects and designers at Herlong.
We initially became interested in Steve Herlong’s work when we saw a home that he had helped design on Dewees Island, SC. 12 years ago. After looking at other projects that Herlong & Associates had created we knew that we were interested in meeting with Steve to determine if we would be interested in spending several years working with him on designing our home. From the very first moment that we met Steve and his staff we knew that our search was over. Steve Herlong is extremely talented and has many years of experience. He is deliberate and thoughtful and we knew that we had his undivided attention every time we met with him. I can’t imagine meeting anyone who is easier to work with than Steve Herlong. He brought our ideas to life and he and his team created the house that we only imagined in our minds
