I am re-doing my entire yard front and back to include a new pool and pool house. I hired JZLA for the entire landscape design and plan. I was surprised at how much actually goes into this sort of planning to ensure it is done right and for the long term. JZLA provided me with exactly what i was looking for and even acted as a go between with my contractor and architect to ensure everything was done to plan. It was money well spent. Highly recommend !
I didn’t understand the full scope of services that Landscape Architects provide until I worked with John. He convinced me to have him create a concept master plan of our entire property that we used as a roadmap as we phased in our improvements over time. It really helped us to make the most of our outdoor space and saved us time and money in the construction process. After we approved the master plan, John created individual plans for the pool, patio, arbor and walkways, underground sprinklers, plantings and lighting. He then helped us price out the work out to numerous contractors so that we would have options on who to hire. He then helped observe the construction to ensure that the contractors were following the plans. One of my favorite surprises is having a record drawing of where all the underground sprinkler pipes, heads and valves are located so that we always know where to find these things once everything is grown in. It’s easy to see the plants and the pool, but trying to figure out where the underground pipes were located would be impossible! I couldn’t be happier with the process and the results!
JZLA provided excellent work in a timely manner. He designed our entire landscape, driveway, and pool plan. He is very knowledgeable in the local zoning regulations and he is also excellent when it comes to deciding plant options. Would highly recommend him!
