Studio ST guided us through what to us felt like a complicated gut renovation with calm, creativity, and thoughtfulness, as well as respect for and firmness with everyone involved in the project. She was completely reliable, highly organized, and extraordinarily good at estimating both time and costs. Esther was a source of good sense in every way, from bidding out the contracting work to advice on where, when and how to make fixture purchases. Her ideas were smart and beautiful and functional, and she never had a problem considering and incorporating our ideas as well. We loved working with her, and we love her work.
Working with Esther was a most pleasant experience. She knew how to accomplish the tasks needed and where we would search for various supplies . We had two closets and a hallway converted into a most beautiful second bathroom. She directed us to tile and plumbing fixtures’ experts and later advised us in terms of beauty. She also recommended the expert and meticulous contractor. Esther’s soft spoken manner was very soothing at such a disruptive time.
AW&S had a fantastic experience working w Esther Sperber and studio ST on a complex multi floor multi phase project on the upper west side. Their creativity and willingness to act as a team player were truly evident from day one thru completion. I would recommend them for a variety of project types and look forward to working with them again soon in the future.
Esther is the consummate professional. She is unfailingly honest, has a fabulous eye and sense of style, works carefully to appreciate and understand her clients, and manages projects with an eye on every detail. When things don’t go as planned, and this is inevitable, she is gracious, works carefully to find solutions, and maintains her calm. She works incredibly well with others, has excellent judgement, and her breadth of knowledge about the way that NYC contractors, the department of buildings and NYC coops work is unbelievably impressive. We feel very lucky to have found her, and would be thrilled to work with her again and again.
Studio ST is a passionate and skilled group that has been an absolute pleasure to work with. Understanding that sound quality and attenuation would be a critical aspect of the project, the firm brought us in to provide acoustic and audio consulting services for the recently completed Ansche Chesed Synagogue renovation. Their experience and attention to detail are made evident by our inclusion in the project alone given that this area is so often overlooked. Moreover, their eagerness to incorporate acoustic products while maintaining aesthetic quality shows their continuing dedication to excellence in all respects.
