During the last 35 years, I have had the pleasure of working with Bob Taylor and Bruce Everetts on seven major projects. They are excellent to work with, knowledgeable and thorough.
I am pleased to recommend their firm for your next project.
As a contractor who has served the Delaware County, Indiana area since 1968, I understand the importance of having a professional and reliable architect. Bruce Everetts and Bob Taylor both meet and exceed these qualifications. Jud Construction, LLC has used them for numerous projects throughout the years and highly recommend Taylor Architects.

I have worked with Bob Taylor and Bruce Everetts on several projects in the past and have found them to be very creative and completely enjoyable to work with.
If you are considering someone to design your next project, they should definitely be a firm to contact.
It is difficult for me to give a bad review, unless it is truly deserved. This, I feel, is deserved.
Professionalism, is not hard to display, if it is there, at all. Many people, can perform a function. Professionals, should be able to provide the services advertised.
When attempting to hire a local architect, I was able to find this one. Out of the five I tried to contact, three didn’t return my call. One was too caught up about his image, to accept my request and needed way more money, that I was willing to pay, to “put his name on it”. The last one said he could do what I needed.
After years of doing construction, I wanted to build my own home. For this, I wanted a set of “professional” prints. Just the basics, nothing too detailed. Floor plan and elevation. For this, I provided my rough print. By “rough”, I mean the entire plan was put on 1/4″ graph paper. Lot lay-out, elevation and complete floor plan, as I wanted it. I just wanted the finished/pretty prints, for nostalgia and a copy for the city. I didn’t need to have it designed, from scratch, as I had spent months, figuring out exactly what I wanted.
The first draft, was completely different, from what I had provided. Rooms moved. Walls added. Doors moved. Even the bathrooms, had been reconfigured. I had to explain, again, that what I provided, was what I was asking for, not a redesign. He made some of the corrections and came up with another incorrect rendition. At this point, after being charged for both attempts, I paid the money and walked out.
It is beyond disappointing. I felt like I didn’t ask for too much. “Take my plans, make them pretty”. I was wrong. He was wrong three times. Twice, were the bad prints. Once, was when he told he could do what I asked.
